The CAREdiZO project aims to close the gender care gap within homes, micro-enterprises, and across micro civil society organizations. Through research, game based learning, and advocacy the project fosters a gender-transformative cultural approach that values care work, combats gender stereotypes, and encourages men and women to share unpaid care responsibilities more equally. The key objectives of the project are: -To promote work-life balance policies in micro-enterprises and micro-CSOs -To challenge gender stereotypes to encourage equal sharing of informal caregiving responsibilities (e.g., childcare, domestic chores, and care of older people) and promote men’s uptake of paternity and parental leave. -To encourage Mirco-Enterprises and Micro-CSOs to gender mainstream their policies and practices. -To raise awareness of the value of care work and highlight the soft skills it develops, such as time management, empathy, and problem-solving.
